We worked with the NZ Bowel Screening team during a university paper to figure out how we can get more participation in the bowel screening tests. We proposed a redesign of the brochure and instructions, and a mobile bowel screening truck as we found many people felt uncomfortable doing the tests at home. My main contribution to this project was the researching and user journeys/dossier.
This was a great learning experience in regards to communicating, meeting the client’s needs and understanding a budget. Communicating our work effectively and quickly was key in navigating many busy schedules, and getting the feedback we needed to continue creating a solution that the client was happy with. We found user journeys and diagrams to be the most effective in these situations.
